A quick update…

It’s been a while since I’ve written a blog post, so I just wanted to send out a quick update on what we were up to.
Last week was my spring break. My last spring break… That’s kind of sad when you think about it πŸ™ So, to celebrate my last spring break, Justin took the week off of work and we decided to take a little road trip through the Midwest. Our road trip led us all over the place. It wasn’t quite as relaxing as we thought it could be, but we had fun nonetheless! We got to spend the entire week together, which made it a great spring break. In the end, I realize that it didn’t matter what we did or where we went, because we were together πŸ™‚
That was last week, now it’s “back to the grinding stone” this week. I only have 7 more weeks of college left (including finals) and I can’t believe it. Part of me thinks that it can’t come soon enough; Another part of me wants to stay in school. It’s a bittersweet ending. I have so much to look forward to in the upcoming months (and years!) that I’m just excited for what the future holds!
Justin is in Naples, FL this week. He’s working on his tan πŸ˜‰ And, of course, working with the robot. As always, I miss him when he’s gone…
Digby… Oh, Digby. He’s still in Elkhart, IN with Justin’s parents. He’s been there since Christmas because Justin has been traveling so much. I really miss him being around! And secretly, I think Justin does, too. πŸ˜‰ I’m really looking forward to the day when it’s me, Justin and Digby – all reunited!
In the midst of all that is going on, I would also like to tell everyone a little about my grandpa and ask for your prayers. My mom’s dad has been battling Lymphoma since 2006. Although my grandpa has appeared to “win” several times, the lymphoma has now set it. I was so fortunate to be able to see him last Saturday with my sisters and Justin. We talked and laughed and I learned even more about him. He still has high-spirits, despite the amount of energy that the lymphoma drains him of. He is taken the hospital several times a week to get fluid drained from his lungs and stomach. Breathing isn’t easy for him at this point – he only has 1/2 of a lung that is clear. Your prayers would be so greatly appreciated. At this point, we are praying that he is just able to be comfortable and at peace.
That’s a little bit about what has been going on lately. No new wedding news to share. We’re just in the process of looking for a photographer.
