Woohoo! And the countdown continues…
Today was the end to a short week, which was nice. After work I met Justin and his mom, Corey (brother) and Brittney (Corey’s girlfriend) for dinner on Mass Ave. at Chatham Tap. Dinner was delicious and we had a good time talking
As far as an update on the wedding front goes, we spent a couple of hours listening to wedding ceremony songs. I’d say that we are about 75% finished with that task. Next we lit one of the lanterns and hung out outside to get an idea of how beautifully it will glow at night. Needless to say, it looked beautiful! We also went through some table decorations* that we got in the mail (*actual decoration to be seen at the wedding!). Justin also made a stop at Lowes early this morning and picked up some additional “decorations.” What would I do without him?! He has been so supportive and helpful and enthusiastic throughout the whole “wedding planning process”… I AM BLESSED!!!!
Not a whole lot went on this evening… just trying to recover from the work week and get some sleep before Justin, his mom, and I all drive to Cincinnati tomorrow morning for a bridal shower! I’m so excited to see everyone and it should be a lot of fun!! More details and an update on that will come tomorrow!
And I should have mentioned this sooner, but I have to thank our friend, Mary Shea, for designing a really cool cartoon that we’re going to display on our cake table! It looks amazing and will look perfect next to our cake! Thanks, Mary! We love it
On a slight side note: If you read this blog and haven’t RSVP’ed, please do so Thanks!
